Often used in roofing applicatiuons, bitumen mastic sealants are a highly viscous liquid meaning they are thicker than standard mastic sealants such as silicone. Bitumen mastic sealants are the only type of mastic sealant one should use against other bitumen-based products such as asphalt and mineral roof felts etc.
