Often claimed but seldom seen in practise, damp tolerant adhesives are a genre of bonding products that are specially formulated to be used as adhesive products that bond similar or different materials together even when moisture (or very high humidity) is present. Damp tolerant adhesives are engineered, tried and rigorously tested to resist the many negative effects of water when first applied, providing a strong and durable bond that fully cures in-situ, despite the usual challenges of wet, damp or porosity of the substrate(s).
