Often claimed but seldom seen in practise, damp tolerant mastic sealants are specially formulated to be used to seal up joints, cracks and gaps even when moisture (or very high humidity) is present. Damp tolerant nastic sealants are engineered, tried and rigorously tested to resist the many negative effects of water when first applied, providing a strong and durable seal that fully cures in-situ, despite the usual challenges of wet, damp or porosity of the substrate(s).
