Consisting of a metal casing and an intumescent insert for interior penetration sealing applications, fire resistant collars are prefabricated all-in-one products designed to provide a high volume expansion and pressure seal during a fire to combustible pipes that pass through floor and wall service openings. Fire resistant collars are offer up to 4 hours fire resistance, are highly intumescent and expand in volume up to 17 times their original size. Fire resistant collars come in a range of different diameters and depths.
