Impregnated Foam Tapes

Normally associated with expansion joints between brickwork or blockwork and UPVC or timber frames, impregnated tapes are usually made from polyurethane (or similar) foam and are saturated in various synthetic resins thus giving the foams certain weatherproofing, joint filling characteristics, such as weatherflame retardancy, UV stability, vapour diffusion and acoustic sealing, often providing expanding properties when exposed to air.
