Sound Resilient Isolation Tape
A range of acoustic dampening, airtight sealing, self-adhesive acoustic tape, (widely known as Isolation Tape or Spound Resilient Tape) in handy, easy application rolls for sealing flooring & ductwork. Self-adhesive, open cell foam tape with superb load & recover consistency, which is used as a premium material for sticking to the top of joists before fixing Tongue & Groove chipboard flooring, the product comprises a conformable 100% closed cell foam coated on one face with a high tack adhesive which is protected by siliconised paper liner. Being closed cell, the product forms an excellent air seal under moderate compression. These self-adhesive foam tape rolls are sold singularly by the 15 metre roll, all with a thickness of 6mm (various sizes of width are available from stock) In general, amongst other uses, sound resilient isolation tapes are used for; Joist to floorboard isolation: Tremco illbruck PE25 & Premium PE33 sound resilient isolation tape is a perfect acoustic dampening product to go around the edge of the floor in tongue and groove flooring with the different sizes reflecting different thicknesses of floor boards.
Stud work / partition wall isolation: As an acoustic isolation tape, the Tremco illbruck PE25 & Premium PE33 sound resilient isolation tape is ideally used for reducing the transfer of sound by isolating partitioning walls or party walls where they may meet. Timber batten isolation: Tremco illbruck PE25 & Premium PE33 sound resilient isolation tape is a perfect acoustic dampening product for the area between timber battens and other wood or concrete surfaces.
Note: The 50mm Tremco illbruck PE25 & Premium PE33 sound resilient isolation tape is often used on TOP of the floor joists and also behind dry lining.
